Julie Hoffenberg and Sarah Woodward, founders of The Healing Patch Raw Cuisine, are two gals with vastly different backgrounds. Their differences create a perfect balance to help people along their way to a healthier lifestyle. The two ladies were my guests on today's on "A Book and a Chat" where they shared thoughts and information about a healthier lifestyle by healthier eating.
Julie is a "health nut" full of information about food, nutrition and natural health. Sarah is a survivor of ovarian cancer, whose unique approach to healing, combined with raw foods has turned her life around, she is a living proof that balancing the emotional and physical aspects of life.
During the show we learned how when the cost of perhaps opening a "healthier eating establishment" proved way to costly in this current climate,lead to them pouring all their experience, helpful tips, and healthy eating guides into their book... "The Healing Patch Cookbook". A book that helps the reader through a gentle transition from cooked to raw food and much more.
We learned about different types of food that are really good for you as well as some of the basic standbys that can help you to a better and more healthy diet as well as life style.
