Fred is the boy any parent would love to find for their daughter. He does whatever he can to protect his new found love Brit. This story has lots of humor and romance, everything a young teen girl would enjoy. It is quite interesting to learn about the different word meanings too. I thoroughly enjoyed Across the Pond and can only hope for a boy with the same traits Fred has for my daughter someday. I hope there will be another part to this story with another trip to the
